Save a Life. Free resuscitation training
May 16, 2016
Please call 489 2011 to register for a place, as our space constraints limit us to about 30 attendees. Whilst Martin is happy to freely volunteer to share his expertise, we thought it would be fitting to collect donations for Starship at the door.
Last month at Medplus some of our team of doctors and nurses successfully performed cardio pulmonary resuscitation on a pulseless patient and brought them back to life. In the course of our staff debriefing, we thought it would be useful to teach the community basic lifesaving skills. Cardiac arrest can, and does, happen anywhere and everywhere. Whether at the sports field or the supermarket, a basic grasp of cardio pulmonary resuscitation may give you the skills you need to save a life.
Dr Martin Hadler has a background in emergency medicine and is also a skilled educator. Please come and join him and we are sure you will have an enjoyable evening! He will be keeping things very simple, so no previous training or knowledge is required.
