Oct. 6, 2020
We are delighted to introduce you to Dr Frederick Goh, who joined Medplus in Oct 2020 for the team atmosphere and collegial support. He complements our team very well and is looking forward to meeting you.
He graduated in 1991 in Singapore and was an Accredited Family Physician with his own solo GP practice before migrating to NZ in 2013. Since then, he has attained Fellowship of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners, completed building up and led Cornerstone accreditation for a new solo GP practice and 3 of his 6 children have completed their University studies.
After graduating, he was trained in and enjoys almost all aspects of General Practice and Family Medicine. His special interests include Eye, Ear, Nose, Throat and Lung conditions, long term Diabetes, Hypertension and Lipid management to prevent strokes and heart disease, as well as seeing young families with children. He strongly believes in patient empowerment through health education and is most willing to share his experience in maintaining healthy living.
He writes screenplays and poetry in his spare time and is the author of the diet book The Metabolic Apocalypse which introduces The Liberty Diet, created to combat obesity and its consequences.
Educated in an English language environment in multiracial Singapore, he is conversant in Mandarin and 3 other Chinese dialects namely Cantonese, Hokkien and Teochew.
Frederick's list is currently full whilst he focuses on getting to know the existing Medplus patients. He is the GP we are recommending for those patients previously registered with Dr Martin Hadler.
