Medplus has 2 new health practitioner roles to introduce to our patients, a Health Improvement Practitioner, and a Health Coach. These new roles are beginning to be rolled out across the country, and we are delighted to be one of the first practices on the North Shore to be involved. These positions have been fully funded, so are available at no cost to our patients.

She is also an Occupational Therapist and qualified Yoga teacher who is deeply passionate about working as a Health Improvement Practitioner within the Medplus community.

Read more to find out if you should get a swab. If you need a swab, please ring our reception on 09 489 2011 during the opening hours. A nurse will phone you back to organise this. You will be given a timed appointment to arrive at our Hauraki car park for a quick and easy swab. Very easy, convenient and no long queues.

Are you off to University this year? Whilst living in hall can be the best days of your life, it can also be a high-risk time for your health. Now is the time to check all your vaccinations are up to date and that you take advantage of the new offering to get protection against some strains of meningitis for free. Do not assume that your parents made sure you had all the vaccinations you need, there are some that are either newly available or that you may have missed at school especially if you are male.
