Fiona Kerr
MBChB, Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, FRNZCGP
Dr Fiona Kerr joined Medplus in 2018, and is a full time doctor.
Fiona has worked in many hospitals throughout New Zealand and in 2003 transitioned to General Practice.
Fiona enjoys all aspects of General Practice, and her special interest is care of women, children and skin cancer.
Fiona lives in Takapuna with her husband and daughter. She enjoys nature, art, music and particularly enjoys travel and hiking with her husband.

Dr Chen Luo
MBChB (Auckland 2011), FRNZCGP, Diploma of Paediatrics, Certificate of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Certificate in Primary Skin Care Medicine and Certificate in Primary Skin Care Surgery (Queensland)
Dr Chen Luo joined Medplus in 2015 and works full time.
Chen graduated from the University of Auckland in 2011 and enjoys all areas of General Practice with postgraduate experience in children and women's health. His special interests are in sleep medicine and surgery. He particularly enjoys building long-term relationships with families in general practice. He practices holistic medicine with a background in medical research and evidence-based medicine. He has recently attained Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners.
Chen is currently contracted by the Waitemata District Health Board as a Skin Cancer specialist to perform Skin surgery at Medplus and also operates at Waitakere Hospital. He will be commencing his Masters in Skin Cancer Medicine in 2018 building on his advanced qualification in this area from the University of Queensland. He is one of the doctors managing the Traveller's Health Clinic at Medplus.
Chen enjoys being physically active with an interest in cycling, tramping and previously marathon running. He practices mindfulness and enjoys playing modern board games.
Chen is also able to consult in Mandarin. His patient list is currently open to new patients. He looks forward to meeting you.

Dr Rory Johnston
BEng(Hons), MBBS (Nottingham 2013), MRCGP (2016), Certificate in treating Substance Misuse part 1 (2015)
Dr Rory Johnston joined Medplus in March 2019 and works part time.
Rory grew up in the south of England. His first degree was in Artificial Intelligence & Software Engineering, and he worked in mobile telecoms before going back to Nottingham University and retraining in Medicine. After completing his GP training, he has worked as a GP in the UK and New Zealand. His specialist interests within GP are mental health, musculoskeletal problems, joint injections and cholesterol management. After working in both the North and South Islands, he has (finally) settled in Auckland.

Dr Jenny Park
MBChB (Otago 2012)
Jenny joined Medplus in 2019
Jenny migrated to NZ with her family from South Korea in 2002 and grew up on the North Shore before going to the University of Otago to study medicine.
She graduated in 2012 and worked in various medical and surgical specialties in Auckland, North Shore, and Waitakere Hospitals. She also spent time working as a medical registrar in Sydney, Australia.
She transitioned to General Practice in 2018 and enjoys all aspects of General Practice with a particular interest in care of the older adult and managing chronic conditions. She believes in holistic approach to treating patients and love the continuity of care that General Practice allows.
Outside her work, she enjoys reading, cooking and travelling.
She is able to consult in Korean and welcomes new patients. She looks forward to meeting you.

Dr Michele Hollis
BHB MBChB (Auckland 1984) FRNZCGP
Dr Michele Hollis is one of the 4 doctors who founded Medplus in 2011. She remains a shareholder and director and is responsible for management of the building and clinical governance. Along with Fiona and our practice manager she led Medplus through Cornerstone Accreditation. She is also a teacher, and is involved in teaching both medical students and GP trainees.
Michele is passionate about all aspects of general practice. Her special interest is care of women and children, but as a tennis player she also has a particular interest in sports medicine. Michele prefers to foster long term relationships with patients in a family practice environment.
Michele has two grown up children and lives with her husband locally.

Dr Jean Lim
MBChB (Auckland 2002), Diploma of Paediatrics, FRNZCGP, Certificate in Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Surgery in Primary Care
Dr Jean Lim joined Medplus when it opened in 2011. She works part time.
Jean enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with a particular interest in paediatrics, reproductive health and minor surgery. She has a special interest in minor surgery and performs many procedures including; removal of skin cancers, tongue tie release, inserting IUDs, Mirenas and Jadelles, and performing endometrial sampling (pipelles).
Born and raised in Auckland, she lives in Takapuna with her husband and three young children.

Dr Fiona Brow
MBChB (Edinburgh 1984), MRCGP, FRNZCGP, Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Certificate of Family Planning, Certificate of Diving Medicine
Dr Fiona Brow is one of the 4 doctors who founded Medplus in 2011. She remains a shareholder and director and is responsible for clinical governance and is currently actively involved in the Safety in Practice programme. Along with Michele and our practice manager she led Medplus through Cornerstone Accreditation. She is also a teacher, and is involved in teaching both medical students and GP trainees. Fiona has a strong link with Takapuna Grammar School, supporting the school nurses with teenage health issues.
Fiona is interested in all aspects of general practice from the young through to the elderly. She has a special interest in women's health, sexual health and diving medicine. Fiona has worked in general practice for 26 years, working and living in Scotland and Australia before moving to New Zealand in 1995. She lives in Devonport with her husband who is an anaesthesiologist and pain physician, and has two grown children.

Dr Annie Si
BHB MBChB (Auckland 1999) FRNZCGP, Diploma of Paediatrics
Dr Annie Si is one of the 4 doctors who founded Medplus in 2011. She remains a shareholder and director and is responsible for human resources.
Annie graduated from the University of Auckland in 1999. She has worked in hospitals around Auckland before becoming a General Practitioner. She has been providing general practice medicine to the North Shore area for over 15 years.
Annie is able to consult in Mandarin, and has been developing our Asian Health Plan with Chen. Annie has a special interest in children's health, allergy management and nutrition. Annie performs minor surgery for her patients.
Annie lives on the North Shore with her husband, two daughters and their dogs.

Dr Heidi MacRae
MBBS (London 1994), MRCGP(distinction), FRNZCGP, UK Diploma of Child Health, Diploma of Family Planning, Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Dr Heidi MacRae is one of the 4 doctors who founded Medplus in 2011. She remains a shareholder and director and is responsible for business management and marketing.
Heidi is from the South East of England and qualified from Guys and St Thomas' Hospitals in London. She worked in London for 5 years in hospitals and general practice. She came to New Zealand in 2001 with her Kiwi husband and has been a general practitioner in Takapuna ever since. She and her husband enjoy living in Devonport with their three children.
Heidi really enjoys her vocation, and the variety it offers her every day. Her special interests are in paediatrics and women's health.
Heidi is also Chair of the Board of Comprehensive Care PHO and Comprehensive Care Limited, sits on their Clinical Advisory Group, is on the executive of GPNZ and is an e Ambassador for the Ministry of Health.

Dr Martin Hadler
MBChB (Otago 1985) Diploma of Child Health, MRNZCUC 2017, Diploma of Paediatrics (Sydney)
Dr Martin Hadler has been working at Medplus since 2013. He is full time and is the team leader for minor surgery and urgent care.
Martin's career started off in surgery and then he transitioned to urgent care medicine in 1994. He assisted in the development of North Shore Hospital's emergency department, and then worked in Europe and Australia in urgent care (emergency) clinics. He transitioned to general practice in more recently and worked in Australia and Keri Keri before joining Medplus. In 2017 he became a Member of the Royal New Zealand College of Urgent Care.
Martin enjoys all aspects of general practice and building relationships with the families he looks after. He enjoys minor surgery, mental health and sports medicine. He is able to manage fractures at Medplus and has a special interest in concussion. He is currently contracted by Waitemata District Health Board to perform minor surgery at Medplus.
Martin has always been active and enjoys rugby and running marathons (5 to date). He is the team doctor for North Shore Rugby Club, and on a Saturday when the Medplus flag is up on the side lines you know he is on hand to manage emergencies. He is also on the medical team for North Harbour Rugby. He has also been involved in the medical team for NZ Iron Man. Martin teaches resuscitation and CPR, and has taught lifesaving skills to many local community groups.
He now lives rurally, north of Auckland with his young son and wife, but is deeply connected to the Hauraki area.
